Publication Ethics
Journal of Al-Akbar Pearl of Education (JMPA) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publication process — the authors, the editors, the reviewers, and the publisher — must agree upon standards of ethical behavior. This publication ethics statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines.
1. Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their work is original, not plagiarized, and has not been published elsewhere.

Proper citation and acknowledgment of others’ work must be made.

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.

All authors must have significantly contributed to the research.

Authors are responsible for disclosing any conflicts of interest and financial support.

If significant errors are found after publication, authors are obliged to notify the editor for correction or retraction.
2. Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the quality and relevance of the manuscript.

Editors must evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit and ensure a fair review process.

Editors must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, or the publisher.

Editors must ensure that ethical guidelines and standards are followed.
3. Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers must assist the editorial process with objective and constructive feedback.

Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents.

Reviewers must not use information obtained during the peer review process for personal advantage.

Reviewers should alert the editor to any ethical concerns, including suspected plagiarism or duplicate publication.
